Late, late, late...

First of all, let me apologize to everyone out there for being so behind.  There isn't really much of an excuse.  I have been fairly busy, but I have, in fact, had time to post.  However, out of laziness, I chose not to.  So, I will ask forgiveness of everyone for my laziness, as that is decidedly not a characteristic I aspire to have.  Nor is it one that Christ would be proud of.

Moving on...I have finished my cabled sleeve pattern.  I decided to name it Pumpkin Spice.  I am sure that many of you can guess why.  For those of you that don't know me so well: I worked at Starbucks for over 2 years before I got married.  The sleeve was knit up in some leftover cheap acrylic I had in the bottom of my stash, which happens to be the exact colour of Starbucks' pumpkin spice sauce.  (Which I love, by the way.)  Hence the name.  The pattern itself features a lovely braided cable, two button holes, (making it adjustable), and a garter stitch border.  The only things I have left to do before I can place this pattern on ravelry and "for sale" are to take a few pictures, and figure out how to put it up here....wish me luck.  (Thank goodness Brett is pretty computer savvy.)

In other news, I am working on a cable-y short sleeve cardigan pattern, and a leafy beret pattern.  They still need a decent amount of work, but are going fairly well.  I am not going to say when I will have them done this time.  Since apparently I can be a slacker, and I wouldn't want to disappoint anyone.

Quick side note, I want to ask all of you out there to say a little prayer for me.  I don't want to go into detail for the entire world to be part of.  But the Lord knows what I need, better that any of us could put it into words.  If you would just keep me in mind, I would really appreciate it.  If you would like to be more specific about it, talk to me one-on-one and I will most likely let you in on what's going on.
